Esta semana es una semana muy especial para todos los andaluces, el día 28 (jueves) es el día de Andalucía y ¡lo celebramos con unas largas vacaciones!

This  is a very special week for the Andalucians, as Thursday, February 28th is Andalucía´s day and we celebrate it with several days off! Enjoy it! :)

Here are some reminders:

Academics:

• Students that go to UPO, remember that the last day to Withdraw from classes at UPO is March, 15th

Housing: Cleaning service during this long weekend:


Please, contact the housing department if you won't be home to let the cleaner in this Wednesday February 27th so that we can reschedule or cancel the cleaning service.

Student Services:

• This Thursday, February 28th no classes will be held and CEA will be closed.  We are open on Friday March 1st. from 9.00 to 14.00.  
• Please keep in mind that while you have no classes at CEA on Wednesday February 27th, you may have classes at UPO or USS.  The CEA office will be open.
• As most of you may be traveling this weekend we recommend you bring a copy of your passport with you, in case yours gets lost or stolen. If you want, we can scan your passport and email it to you so you have a copy with you available anytime.
• If you are travelling on your own, please tell us your travel plans.









• Basketball game Sevilla team- Cajasol
• If you want to attend a professional basketball game while you are in Seville, you can attend a game on Sunday, March 10th at 12:00 at a discounted rate! Let us know if you are interested and we will get you the information.

• On Monday 4rd March at 21:30, for the match of Liga de Fútbol Nacional Sevilla FC – Celta de Vigo, tickets will be sold at an exceptional price of 5 euros to all North American of Seville, so that they can enjoy the organised party from our special offer “SOMOS DE TODOS, SOMOS DEL MUNDO”

How to participate in the Seville football party?

1. Discounted tickets will be sold in the ticket office at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium at the following times:

• Saturday 2nd March and Sunday 3rd March from 10 to 14 and 17 to 21  hours. 
• Monday 4rd March, the day of the match, from 10 to 21:30.

2. The price is only 5 euros for the tickets in West Upper Stand.
3. On the day of the match, there will be a special box office clearly indicated by our campaign to make the entrance easier for the participants.

4. To obtain the tickets the participants are required to present their passport or Foreigner Identification Card (Tarjeta de Identificación de Extranjeros), together in the ticket box as well as at the entrance to the stadium on the day of the match. The tickets will be personal.

5. The stadium will be accessible through Gate 27 – gate “SOMOS DE TODOS, SOMOS DEL MUNDO” – after entering the stadium, the Foundation will hand out a scarf/flag to all the participants of the campaign as a gift.
6. All participants who submit the competition participation form will be entered into a draw for a signed T-shirt and 2 VIP tickets for a match chosen by the club.
7. It is recommended that all participants keep their ticket for another promotion in a different match (to be determined).
Apart from the football, there will be a lot more surprises prepared for everyone at this party to make
everybody feel at home!

Recipe for the week: Desayuno andalúz

This is a tradicional and super easy breakfast that brings back to me many good memories from when I was a kid and we all celebrate the Andalusian´s day at the school. Our teachers used to bring all the stuff and we enjoy such an energetic meal just before our break! it was the best day in the academic year!!! try this!
Ingredients:

• Bread
• Extra virgin olive oil
• Sugar

you only have to toast the bread and add a coffee spoon of extra virgin olive oil and another coffee spoon of sugar all over the piece of bread. Enjoy it!
