Dear students,
This is our last week together, We hope you had a great semester and you always remember your time here with a big smile on your face, we will remember all of you that way!

Queridos estudiantes,
Esta es nuestra última semana juntos, esperamos que hayáis pasado un semestre genial y que siempre recordéis vuestro tiempo aquí con una gran sonrisa, ¡nosotros así os recordaremos!

Here are some important reminders:
Academics:
  • Friday, May 17th: Classes end for the Liberal Arts and Science Program. Exams will be held this day at UPO and CEA GC. Classes end for the Humanities and Spanish Language program. Exams will be held this day at GC. Classes end for the Spanish Language and Sociocultural Studies Program at the CEA Global Campus. Exams will be held this day at CEA GC.
  • Please complete the GPI survey, by logging into your "MyCEA account" ASAP.

Housing:
  • Apartments: Contact the housing department for the check out procedure, read your emails for more information. Remember that the deadline to set a visit is Tuesday, May 14th.
  • Saturday May, 18th: CEA program ends for Liberal Arts and Science program students. Move out from CEA housing before 12 pm. CEA program ends for the Humanities and Spanish Language program students. Move out from CEA housing before 12 pm. CEA program ends for the Spanish Language and Socialcultural Studies program students. Move out from CEA housing before 12 pm.
Student services:

  •  The end of the semester is approaching rapidly! We know that a lot of you have accumulated many things over the semester that you do not want to bring home to the states with you. Please donate those items to CEA and they will be brought to an ONG organization. Rather than throw these things away, please donate them to those in need. Here is a list of the things you can donate: Clothes, shoes, bags, hygeine products (half used bottles of shampoo, perfume, unused razors etc) unused medicine

Spanish recipe of the day:

Ingredients: Caracoles picantes a la aragonesa (Spicy snails)
  • 1 kg cleaned snails in their shells
  • 1 garlic clove peeled and chopped
  • 100 ml Olive Oil
  • 1 red chilli pepper de-seeded and chopped
  • 1 small onion peeled and chopped
  • 1 sprig of thyme chopped
  • 1 green pepper de-seeded and chopped
  • 1 red pepper de-seeded and chopped
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • salt and black pepper
  • 3 tbsp water
 Preparation:
Put the snails in a large pan and cover with plenty of salted water.
Bring to the boil, drain and refill the pan with water.
Bring to the boil again.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying-pan, and fry the onions, peppers and garlic for about 5 minutes until soft.
When they are almost cooked, add the chilli pepper, thyme and paprika and season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Simmer for 5 minutes, adding cold water if necessary.
Drain the snails and transfer them to a flameproof casserole.
Pour the sauce over them, cover and simmer gently for 1 hour then serve.
